Make a Christmas stocking to hang up and enjoy year after year!

During this beginner-friendly sewing workshop, children will use a sewing machine to make their own full-sized Christmas stocking from a selection of festive fabrics.

They will learn how to position and join their fabric pieces, sew around curves, attach a contrasting cuff and add a ribbon hanging loop. Once the stocking is assembled, they can personalise it with their choice of simple felt shapes and Christmas decorations.

The main stocking pieces will be prepared in advance, allowing children to concentrate on learning the sewing skills needed to construct and finish their stocking.

No previous machine-sewing experience is needed. Step-by-step guidance will be provided throughout, and all materials and sewing machines are included.
