About A Daily Dose of Dopamine and me ...

Hi, I’m Lauren — welcome to A Daily Dose of Dopamine

Creativity has always felt like medicine to me — a way to lift the spirit, bring joy and connect with others. I started out making and upcycling pieces that turned simple things into something loved again. Over time, my passion for colour and community grew too big for one small shop, and the dream for a brighter, more open studio took shape.

That dream became A Daily Dose of Dopamine — a place designed to spark happiness the moment you step inside. Dopamine is the brain’s feel-good spark, linked to play and curiosity, and every detail here — the colour, the light, the playful décor — is chosen to invite that same sense of joy and possibility.

Today, this space is home to my own craft clubs and events, and it’s also open to other brilliant makers and teachers who want to share their skills. If you’re planning a workshop, a small creative gathering or a meet-up, the studio is available to hire by the hour. It isn’t permanently staffed between events, but I’m close by — and always happy to hear from you.

I also run Fair Fantoosh here in Bo’ness — the colourful little shop where my journey began and where I still spend much of my time.

Whether you come to learn, to teach, or simply to spend an hour making something with your own hands, I hope this space gives you a little lift — a daily dose of inspiration.

Love, Lauren
