This class is the perfect next step for young makers who are ready to move from hand sewing onto a sewing machine in a calm, supportive setting.

Designed for children aged 9 and up, this beginner sewing machine class focuses on building confidence, understanding how a sewing machine works, and learning safe, practical sewing skills at a gentle pace.

What we’ll cover

• Sewing machine parts and how they work

• Machine safety and good sewing habits

• Threading the machine and winding a bobbin

• Sewing straight lines and simple seams

• Handling fabric and controlling speed

• Making a simple machine-sewn project to take home

• Completed a hand-sewing beginners class or

• Have a good understanding of basic hand-sewing skills and sewing basics
